Dr. Scott Naugler
Hepatologist, OHSU

Pre-or post-transplant, we all have questions about how we’re affected by the latest drugs or diets,  trends related to liver transplantation and general health questions. Dr. Naugler will respond to any of your questions as well as share about the latest transplant research projects and what they mean to us.

Date to be announced
Dr. Sam Hopkins
OHSU Dept. of Dermatology

Dr. Hopkins is keenly interested in transplant patients because they have a much higher risk of skin cancer than the general public, due to the need for long-term immunosuppressive medications. Dr. Hopkins will tell us about the High-Risk Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Clinic he and his colleague, Dr. Leitenberger, instituted with the OHSU Department of Dermatology. Their goals are to minimize skin cancer risk through education and preventive care, and to provide excellent and coordinated treatment when skin cancer develops. Come and hear how we can be actively involved in prevention of skin cancer, how to watch for possible skin cancers, and how these are treated when diagnosed. Dr. Hopkins also welcomes your questions about skin care for transplant patients.
